DEOR activities were a means of raising the level of interest among local and regional communities.
The local authorities logistically supported the development of the activities within the project, making spaces available to organizations and adults from the target group.
Necessary to carry out face-to-face activities, mostly ensuring the necessary technique for the educational process, but also the safety of the participants.
At the level of local authorities, at the end of the project, plans were launched to develop digital skills among their members through collaboration.
With the organizations from the three participating countries. We were also proposed joint activities based on a concrete plan, aiming at digital skills in among all members of the communities, young people and adults, but also activities aimed at preventing the socio-economic isolation of these members.
At the regional and European level, we started collaboration with organizations that deal with the education of adults and young people, for the realization of a project of Erasmus+ cooperation. This collaboration is due to the interest of at least ten organizations from the partner countries and from other European countries that have access the open educational resources launched through the project website and which they used in their own projects.
Participants in the DEOR events showed great interest in the materials produced. The impression was that the participants did not want to use the materials to teach others, but to learn for themselves. In fact, as some of them said, they have several difficulties with digital tools for both personal and professional use.
In addition, the average age of the participants was 55, and from the questions they asked, they looked like participants in the Digital Adult project courses.
There were activities with a number of eleven organisations in the partner countries which deal with adult education, especially the digital skills. Over all, the number of the participants in DEOR activities were over three hundred including private persons, organisations, local authorities, different stakeholders.
The best part of these DEOR activities was that the participants from the partner countries were able to work together in some of the workshops and seminars through the virtual environment.
In the project, we proposed a sustainability period of at least two years. The project website, https://digitaladult.ro/, is a resource open education that will be permanently updated with educational materials and modern digital pedagogy methods from both organizations.
Partners, as well as from other organizations that already use the educational resources promoted by the partnership and that are interested in digital education.
